# Day 1 — fifteen minutes, then stop (Starter)

You are done when tomorrow’s you (or your agent) can see what this project is and what to do next. You do not need the whole kit today.

## The only path today

1. Copy these files into your project folder. There is nothing to install.
2. Tell your coding agent: **Read DAY1.md and start.**
3. Together, fill in `AGENTS.md` with two things, in plain sentences: what this project is, and what must not be touched.
4. Do one small real thing. When it works, write one line: what you did, and what to do next. Put that line at the bottom of `AGENTS.md`.
5. Stop.

That is the whole product for day one. The rest of the files wait until something hurts.

## If you get lost

Tell your agent: **Start from AGENTS.md.** Open this file again. Do not open a new chat from zero if you can help it.

## Later (not today)

You do not learn the cards. After Day 1 they already sit where coding apps look: `.agents/skills/` (Cursor, Codex, Copilot) and `.claude/skills/` (Claude Code). Those folders point at the same files in `skills/`. Your app reads each card's name and short description and opens the matching one. Type `/` or `$` only if you want a specific card.

If a card appears twice, it is the same file. Two host families, one card.
